IPSF EuRS

The event aims to gather students to discuss the work of IPSF in the European region and to share their insights on topics of pharmaceutical interest.

Student Exchange Programme (SEP)

IPSF's largest project, offering professional pharmacy internships. Every year, approximately 1000 students around the world are given the opportunity to experience pharmacy practice in more than 80 different countries.

Our IPSF Member Organisations organise the exchanges by finding host sites where the students are trained. The programme runs throughout the year (Winter version and Summer version), but the majority of the exchanges take place between May and September.

Leaders in Training

Leaders in Training (LiT) is a program that equips pharmacy and pharmaceutical science students and recent graduates with essential leadership and management skills. By developing competencies such as communication, strategic thinking, team management, problem-solving, and emotional intelligence, LiT prepares participants to confidently lead diverse teams and create meaningful impact at local, national, and international levels.

The Trainers Development Camp (TDC)
This is a unique opportunity for IPSF members to learn how to become professional soft-skill trainers. If you've ever wanted to inspire others, help them grow or share your knowledge in a fun and impactful way, changing people's lives - TDC is the perfect place to start.

The main programme was full of sessions on various topics that future TDC graduates can deliver in future (communication, leadership, group dynamics…) but also topics made especially for use by IPSF trainers (public speaking, visuals, responsible use of AI in trainings…)

If you’re looking to boost your future career, connect with like-minded people, and make a real impact, TDC is an experience you won’t want to miss!

This year's 6th IPSF EuRO TDC was hosted by CzPSA in Hradec Králové, Czech republic. 26 participants from all around the world gained the skills and motivation to create and deliver training on various topics - mostly including soft skills which make us who we are as humans. Whether it’s at big events like IPSF’s Leaders in Training (LIT), local workshops, or even the World Congress the TDC graduates now obtain the confidence to lead meaningful sessions.

Professional Development

IPSF EuRO supports the professional growth of pharmacy students through hands-on initiatives such as Clinical Skills Events, patient counseling, industry-focused activities, and awareness campaigns. In 2024, the Clinical Skills Event was organized in two rounds focusing on pregnancy and mental health during pregnancy. Top participants were awarded financial vouchers, and all winners received recognition through social media posts.

Pharmacy Education

Pharmacy Education is promoted through webinars, discussions, forums, and competitions. During Pharmacy Education Week (4–8 March 2024), IPSF EuRO organized two webinars addressing the misuse of drugs, including smart drugs, recreational drugs, and herbal drugs.

Public Health

Public Health campaigns form a major part of IPSF EuRO’s activities, aiming to raise awareness of global health issues. Throughout the year, numerous campaigns were organized, covering topics such as mental health, diabetes, autism, asthma, multiple sclerosis, climate change, blood donation, and other key public health priorities.
